How to Wear Red

There are places I pass by very often not realizing their beauty. Take a look at one of them. The front wall of Spanish Library in Wroclaw ♥️⁣

Funny how I hated the red color when I was a kid. I was always very pale, almost 'translucent’, as my teachers used to say, so my mom decided I need some color to pop me up. And red was her obvious choice. ⁣⠀

For me – in comunist times – it was the color of opression and the party my family was always against to 👺. So I considered as a big incosequence and was rebelious (not understanding that red was also the color of rebelion though! 😅).⁣⠀

Now I truly love the vibrancy of red, appreciating how it complements my skin tone. And – as you can see – I wear it quite often.⁣ ♥️⠀

As I consider myself as a concious shopper, I don’t shop too much, you know. But when I saw this a-little-gipsy silk dress in vibrant scarlett, I knew I have to have it. First of all I checked what fiber is it made of  – if it was poly or other chep crap I wouldn’t buy it. But silk, in 'my’ skade of red, and in the design I could wear for years to come… It felt like an absolution 😇

Sandro is one of my favorite fashion labels in France – it’s quality is great and proces not too high (although it’s not fast fashion).
